Erin Finestone, PT, DPT, OCS

Meet Erin Finestone, PT, DPT, OCS, OCS, MPH, a physical therapist with a strong background in orthopaedics, sports rehabilitation, and public health. She is passionate about helping patients optimize movement, build resilience, and achieve their performance goals through evidence-based, personalized care. Her clinical approach integrates rehabilitation science with principles of health promotion and athletic performance to support recovery and long-term wellness.

Dr. Finestone earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and her Master of Public Health in Global Environmental Health from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of California, San Francisco and San Francisco State University (UCSF/SFSU), followed by an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency at UCSF/SFSU. She is now a board-certified clinical orthopedic specialist.

Her professional interests include orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation, health and wellness promotion, and bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance. She is committed to empowering patients to move confidently and return to the activities that bring them fulfillment and joy.

Dr. Finestone is a California native who developed a passion for athletics early on including playing competitive soccer. In her personal time, Dr. Finestone maintains an active lifestyle, and enjoys rock climbing, trail running, mountain biking, and skiing.
